After landing at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be greeted and driven to the opulent Nairobi Serena Hotel by our driver guide. Settle into your comfortable room and unwind after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you can opt for a short visit to the nearby Giraffe Centre, David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, or enjoy an elegant dinner at the hotel or at a nearby restaurant such as Carnivore. Rest well in preparation for your safari adventure.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at Nairobi Serena, then transfer to the SGR Nairobi Terminus for your morning train to Voi Station (approx. 4.5 hours). Enjoy scenic views of the Kenyan countryside during your journey. Upon arrival in Voi, you’ll be picked up and transferred to Salt Lick Safari Lodge, located within Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary in Tsavo. Check in, relax, and later embark on your first afternoon game drive, where you may encounter elephants, lions, buffalo, and giraffes. Return to the lodge for dinner, and enjoy the magical experience of wildlife gathering at the waterhole beneath the lodge.
Wake up early for a sunrise game drive to experience the wilderness at its most active. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then enjoy some rest and relaxation. After lunch, head out for another afternoon game drive or opt for a nature walk (if offered). Explore the vast and rugged beauty of Tsavo, one of Kenya’s largest parks, known for its red-dust elephants and dramatic landscapes. In the evening, enjoy dinner and maybe some stargazing from the lodge.
After an early breakfast, check out and transfer to Voi SGR Station to board the morning train to Mombasa Terminus (approx. 3 hours). Upon arrival, you’ll be picked up and transferred to Diani Beach, crossing the Likoni Ferry. Arrive at the beautiful Baobab Beach Resort & Spa, your home for the next three nights. Check in and take in the incredible ocean views as you unwind with a refreshing drink and a walk on the white sandy beach.
Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Bask in the sun by the beach or pool, explore the tropical gardens, or enjoy one of the resort’s many all-inclusive activities. For the more adventurous, optional excursions include snorkeling, jet skiing, kite surfing, or visiting the Colobus Monkey Sanctuary. In the evening, enjoy themed entertainment and delicious coastal cuisine at the resort.
At mid-morning you may opt for an optional full-day tour to Wasini Island and Kisite Marine Park, known for its dolphin sightings and stunning coral reefs. The trip includes snorkeling, a dhow cruise, and a delicious Swahili seafood lunch. Return in the late afternoon to relax by the ocean and enjoy your final evening in Diani.
Enjoy your final morning by the beach before checking out. You’ll be transferred to Mombasa SGR Terminus for your return train to Nairobi (approx. 6 hours). Upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll be transferred to the airport or your onward destination, bringing your safari-and-sea adventure to a memorable close.

We spent 5 days in Nairobi with Francis as our tour leader. From the moment our plane landed and we cleared customs, he was there with a smile. He was very thorough while reviewing our itinerary making sure every detail was covered. He also offered flexibility to refine our plans to ensure we had the best experience. We opted for a personalized experience and Capture Africa did not disappoint. The drivers we had were amazing, kind, personable and professional. At each tour we had a dedicated guide to walk and talk with at our own pace. This was a trip of a lifetime and Francis and Capture Africa were a huge reason why! There is so much to see and do in Nairobi. I would definitely utilize their services when I return and I encourage any one looking to visit the area to contact Francis to help bring your ideas to life!Posted on J JTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wow. Honestly, I was a little nervous about traveling to Kenya at first, I didn’t know what to expect. But once I arrived and got to Amboseli National Park, all that fear disappeared. The team made me feel completely at home — like I was in good hands from start to finish. They took care of everything. The views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the peaceful wildlife, the quiet moments just watching elephants cross the plains… it was all surreal.
