Experience one of the seven natural wonders of the world, combined with one of Africa’s top national parks. Hwange National Park, which is approximately the size of Belgium, is home to around 50,000 elephants and is known for its cheetahs, leopards, lions, and one of Africa’s largest populations of the endangered wild dog. Rare species such as roan and sable antelopes also inhabit the park. Bird enthusiasts will be thrilled by the 500 species recorded here.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a guide from Dream Africa Vacations, who will accompany you on a road transfer to Hwange National Park. The journey from Victoria Falls International Airport to Hwange National Park takes approximately 2.5 hours. During the drive, your guide will share information about Zimbabwe, its people, and culture. Along the way, you will pass through Hwange, a coal mining town. Upon arrival at the lodge, your guide will assist you with check-in and ensure you are comfortably settled. Dinner will be at your own expense. Your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Today, your guide will pick you up early for a morning game drive. Most animals, especially the cats, are active from night until morning. Your professional guide will take you to strategic points around the park where you will enjoy your game viewing safari. You will have a picnic lunch at a designated platform in the park. After lunch, you will continue with the game drive until 4:00 pm, then the guide will drop you off at the hotel.
You can choose between an afternoon game drive on the first day and a morning game drive on the second day, so that you can have time to relax if needed.
Dinner at the hotel is at your own expense, followed by your overnight stay at the lodge.
Today, you will visit the a nearby village to experience how the local people live and maintain their culture while living in rural areas. After the tour, you will visit the Painted Dog Conservation Centre to learn how the locals conserve the painted dog using sustainable approaches for the animals and the environment.
At 10:30 am, guests will check out and transfer to Victoria Falls, a 200 km road transfer that will take approximately 2.5 hours.
At 1:00 pm, you will check in at the lodge and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure, enjoying the pool bar.
At 3:45 pm, your guide will pick you up for a sunset cruise along the Zambezi River. Snacks and drinks are provided on board, offering a luxurious way to end the day after the journey from Hwange National Park.

Start your day with breakfast at the lodge. At 8:00am, our experienced and informative guides will pick you up from your hotel. They will lead you through the rainforest for about 2.5 hours. During this tour, you will not only enjoy the scenic views but also learn about the famous history of Victoria Falls, as well as the geography and history of the local people. The activity includes return transfers, a visit to the Big Tree, and a bottle of water. Later, you will be picked up from your lodge and transferred to the airport (either Livingstone Airport or Victoria Falls International Airport).
