Uganda, often called the “Pearl of Africa,” is one of East Africa’s most captivating destinations. Blessed with lush forests, vast savannahs, snow-capped mountains, and serene lakes, Uganda offers travelers a perfect blend of adventure and natural beauty. It is most famous for mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a once-in-a-lifetime encounter that ranks among the world’s greatest wildlife experiences. Uganda also boasts the source of the Nile River, breathtaking national parks, and abundant wildlife, including chimpanzees, elephants, lions, and hippos. Our Uganda tours are crafted to showcase both the country’s remarkable biodiversity and its warm cultural heritage, making it an ideal destination for explorers seeking authentic and life-changing journeys.
Here Are the Main Sightseeing Places in Uganda:
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – A UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. Trekking through its dense rainforest to meet gorillas is Uganda’s top attraction.
Murchison Falls National Park – Famous for the dramatic Murchison Falls, where the Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge, this park also hosts elephants, giraffes, lions, and abundant birdlife.
Queen Elizabeth National Park – Known for its tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector and the Kazinga Channel boat cruises, offering close encounters with hippos, buffalo, and crocodiles.
Kibale National Park – Renowned as the “Primate Capital of the World,” this forest is perfect for chimpanzee tracking and offers one of the highest primate diversities globally.
Lake Victoria – Africa’s largest lake, ideal for fishing, boat rides, and cultural encounters with communities living along its shores.
Rwenzori Mountains National Park – Also known as the “Mountains of the Moon,” this UNESCO World Heritage Site offers challenging treks and spectacular alpine scenery.

We spent 5 days in Nairobi with Francis as our tour leader. From the moment our plane landed and we cleared customs, he was there with a smile. He was very thorough while reviewing our itinerary making sure every detail was covered. He also offered flexibility to refine our plans to ensure we had the best experience. We opted for a personalized experience and Capture Africa did not disappoint. The drivers we had were amazing, kind, personable and professional. At each tour we had a dedicated guide to walk and talk with at our own pace. This was a trip of a lifetime and Francis and Capture Africa were a huge reason why! There is so much to see and do in Nairobi. I would definitely utilize their services when I return and I encourage any one looking to visit the area to contact Francis to help bring your ideas to life!Posted on J JTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wow. Honestly, I was a little nervous about traveling to Kenya at first, I didn’t know what to expect. But once I arrived and got to Amboseli National Park, all that fear disappeared. The team made me feel completely at home — like I was in good hands from start to finish. They took care of everything. The views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the peaceful wildlife, the quiet moments just watching elephants cross the plains… it was all surreal.
