3 Days Itinerary-Watamu

Catch a morning flight from Nairobi to Malindi, ideally around 9:00 AM. Upon arrival, your private transfer will be waiting to take you to Medina Palms. You’ll arrive at the resort by late morning, just in time to enjoy a refreshing welcome drink and smooth check-in to your luxurious suite or villa, many of which feature rooftop terraces or private plunge pools.
Enjoy lunch at Amandina Restaurant, which offers an elegant blend of coastal and Mediterranean cuisine. Afterward, take a peaceful walk along the white sands of Watamu Beach, or cool off in Medina Palms’ infinity pool. As the sun sets, unwind with a sundowner cocktail at the rooftop lounge or down by the beach. Dinner can be enjoyed at the resort, or you might try Ocean Sports nearby for a more casual beachfront dining experience. Return to Medina Palms for a restful night under the stars.

After breakfast, head out for snorkeling in Watamu Marine Park, exploring coral reefs and tropical fish. Return for lunch at Crab Shack Dabaso, perched over mangroves. Spend the afternoon on a paddleboard or canoe trip through Mida Creek, then stay for a beautiful sunset. Enjoy dinner at Pilipan Restaurant, with views of the creek and Indian Ocean breeze. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before visiting the Gede Ruins, a 13th-century Swahili-Arabic settlement. Stop by the Kipepeo Butterfly Project next door, then return to the resort for a light lunch. Spend your final moments relaxing on the beach or by the pool before checking out and transferring to Malindi Airport for your afternoon flight back to Nairobi.
