Day 2 Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Begin your day with a sunrise game drive in the Mweya Peninsula where you might spot predators like lions and leopards as they hunt in the cool morning air while you watch the sunrise over the savanna.
Return to Lodge for Breakfast: After the drive, head back to your lodge for a relaxed breakfast. Spend some time resting or taking a nature walk around the lodge grounds while you wait to enjoy lunch.

After lunch, embark on a two-hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, one of the Park’s most remarkable experiences. As you glide along this scenic waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George, enjoy close-up views of large pods of hippos cooling in the water and crocodiles sunning on the banks. This cruise offers some of the best birdwatching opportunities in the region, with kingfishers, African fish eagles, herons, and other colorful species commonly spotted along the shores. The boat cruise is an unforgettable way to experience the park’s incredible diversity of wildlife.
